꩜ “Fourth Wave” is part of a series exploring the necessary inner death and rebirth cycles in our lives which guide us to explore, grieve, learn, create, and to return home.

Selling for a limited time, this print celebrates portraits from the Fourth Wave group in Maharlika, a group of Filipino-British artists commissioned to curate a three day exhibition during November 2025. Originally, a 216x152cm tapestry it was hung at the end of the Heroine’s Journey series to commemorate that healing should be done in community and in the guidance of Mother Nature, for we can only do so much on our own. Ainara aims to champion the Filipino diaspora’s artists who are paving ways for new ways of imagining, creating, and world-building.

꩜ The original painting uses oil and spray paint, as shown in the photo, to promote returning to creating with our hands again.
